Our Staff

Pastor Scott Bailey has grown to love the Majestic Baptist Church body after beginning his ministry in Pueblo West in November, 2001. Prior to coming to Majestic he served in churches in Amarillo, TX, and Littleton, CO during his many fulfilling years of ministry that began in 1978. He prepared for the ministry by graduating from Moody Bible Institute (Chicago, IL, 1977), Colorado Christian University (Denver, CO, 1978) and Denver Seminary (1992).

Scott married his gifted wife, Alicia, on November 26, 1982, and she participates in the ministry through teaching preschoolers, making quilts and cooking lots of delicious meals! Scott and Alicia are blessed with 2 incredible children (just ask them!). Son Chas is a Colorado State University-Pueblo graduate and is presently a Cru (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ) missionary presently living in Colorado Springs with his wife, Ruth (married December 20, 2009!). They anticipate returning to serve in Serbia in 2012 after they complete their support raising. Their fun son, Chase, will accompany them to Serbia! Daughter Megan also graduated from CSU-P. She married Donny Gordon on August 15, 2009, and they serve on staff at Calvary Church in Pueblo. And they have a charming daughter named Ella! Scott's favorite hobbies include snow skiing, climbing 14ers and golf.

Scott's ministry can be characterized by a love for all ages in the body, passionate worship, practical preaching, and a delight for personal time in the Word and prayer.

Pastor Doug Tiemann is very honored for the chance to serve the body of Majestic. He arrived in Pueblo West Feb. 2011 and began his ministry there. He attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University where he earned a B.A. in communication. He later attended Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary where he earned his Masters of Divinity.

Doug married his lovely wife Reann in May of 2005. They've since been blessed with two beautiful girls: Mara born July 2008 and Lillian born July 2010. The girls enjoy outside activities and any time they get to spend with their daddy.

Doug enjoys playing music, mountain biking, road biking, and watching movies.

Pastor Doug's aim is to build a ministry that is fierce in its pursuit of God. He wants to see the people of God striving to follow him while they are passionately engaged in worship to the Father

Pastor Jeremy Edwards is tremendously thankful to have the privilege of serving at Majestic, especially with the Youth. He joined Majestic on staff on Easter Sunday in 2008. Before coming to Majestic, he attended The Master's College (B.A. History, Santa Clarita, CA, 2007) which included 2 semesters studying the Bible while living in Israel! He grew up in San Diego, CA and spent many years enjoying the sun and the beach.

Jeremy married his beautiful wife, Jennifer, in March of 2008, just prior to moving to Colorado. They met on a college mission trip to Alabama assisting victims of Hurricane Katrina. She also attended The Master's College, attaining a B.A. (2004) and almost has her M.A. in Biblical Counseling. She enjoys counseling, encouraging and discipling teenage girls in order to help them understand and work through life's issues, know God better, and grow in their love and obedience to Him.

They have two sons (Peter & Titus) and delighted to have two happy boys who already love one another. They are the happiest little guys and will definitely put a smile on your face when you meet them!

Jeremy and Jenny both strive to love and disciple students into a greater hunger, passion and love for God so that will glorify God with their lives!
